Exhibit Gallery
The Deb Biermann Exhibit Gallery
is named for our longtime Sedalia Heritage Foundation Director, Deborah Smith Biermann, in honor of her commitment to preserving the Sedalia Katy Depot and honoring the history and legacy of Sedalia’s railroad workers, their families and all who helped build this wonderful community.
Sedalia and the Railroad Exhibit
Originally platted to attract the railroads through this part of the state, Sedalia’s economy was dependent upon the railroad industry. A short DVD presentation and scale model landmark buildings located in the Exhibit Gallery create a sense of community built for and by the railroads.
