The Sedalia Katy Depot is located at mile marker 227.1 along the 237.7 mile-long Katy Trail State Park. It serves as a major trailhead and is a must-stop for trail enthusiasts looking for souvenirs or local information from a knowledgeable staff. Hikers and riders can also take a break and tour the Exhibit Gallery for a taste of the region’s history and culture or explore the rolling stock and metal art along the tracks. There’s plenty to take in at the Depot.

Directions by vehicle:
From Highway 50 go to Hancock Street. Turn north to
Third Street and turn west to Katy Depot.
From South Highway 65 go to Third Steet and turn east (right). The Katy Depot will be located on your right about 24 blocks down.
From North Highway 65 take the 765 exit which becomes Ohio Avenue. Take Ohio to third Street and turn east (left). The Katy Depot will be located on your right about six blocks down, on the southeast corner of the Third and Thompson Streets.
Directions from Amtrak Station:
Travel south on Ohio Street to Third Street. Turn left at Third and travel six blocks to the Katy Depot at the corner of 3rd and Thompson.
