  • Year-round visitor destination for travelers, trail enthusiasts, railroad buffs, history lovers and a source of pride for local citizens
  • State Tourism Affiliate Welcome Center distributing info on Missouri attractions and events
  • Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as a key historic depot along Missouri’s Katy Trail State Park
  • Home for Rolling Stock including two Missouri-Pacific cabooses and four public art sculptures
  • Premier attraction and full-service trailhead located at mile marker 227.1 along the Missouri Katy Trail State Park
  • Starting point for Sedalia’s Heritage Trail—a walking, biking or driving loop linking Sedalia’s Historic Districts located downtown and on the Missouri State Fairgrounds
  • Guided and self-guided tours available in the Deb Biermann Exhibit Gallery featuring Sedalia and the Railroad as well as revolving exhibits covering all aspects of the area’s culture and history
  • Gift & Souvenir store…onsite and online. Find Missouri-made products, Katy Trail souvenirs, railroad and ragtime items, as well as locally-made arts & crafts and books by local authors.
